I personally do not recommend placing any concrete in the Vancouver rain,
but never the less if you must, you better be ready to deal with it.
If you happen to have a roof over the slab that helps. Now all you got to
pay attention is to drippings, and the side openings like windows, and doors.
poly, and plywood are your friends, so use them to protect your concrete.
(By the way never mind placing stamped concrete under any circumstances
in the rain, not a good idea unless you're completely covered and no drips.)
An outdoors pour is a different story, you can prepare in advance to a certain
level to cut damages while placing, and finishing covering everything up with
tarps, and poly, but remember do it before hand, because if rain hits your
slab you're set back hours finishing.
